**Job Summary and Qualifications**

**The Certified Surgical Technologist assists surgeons, anesthetist and registered nurses in the delivery of perioperative care to patients. Under the direction of the registered nurse, acts as a primary scrub person handling surgical instruments, equipment and supplies necessary during a procedure.**
