About the Role
We are seeking a Surgical Registrar to join our Surgical Department here at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital to commence 3 August 2026.
The Registrars are responsible for the day to day management of inpatients under the care of a designated Consultant. They are also responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients referred to hospital acutely with surgical problems. These may be patients referred for admissions on acute days or be patients who have previously been cared for by the team and whom the team as accepted for re-admission.
