What you’ll do
As a member of the team, provides patient care through the provision of education and support to patients in the Program around issues related to their procedure and/or treatment. Work collaboratively with medical staff and other multi-disciplinary health care team members to assist in ensuring effective, evidence-based and high-quality patient-centred care.Provides direct and indirect nursing support and care for patients including: preparation of patient for gynecology procedures, medication administration, set-up and operation of patient monitoring equipment, and managing recovering patients after procedural sedation and phase II recovery after general anesthesia.In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, participates in streamlining and provides input into surgical slates to ens...
