* Seeking interest for potential Surgical Registrar positions for second-half 2026. * Surgery Allocations are across Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa (Masterton) Hospitals. * Most likely allocations of General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Relief. Rotations are 6-monthly.The Wellington Region Surgery RMO positions are rotational across multiple hospitals, including Wellington Regional, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa (Masterton) Hospitals which means that you may rotate to any these sites during your time with us. If you are successful in gaining a position, the service will do their best to accommodate the run preferences stated within your cover letter.
The Wellington Region offers Runs in General Surgery; Vascular; Paediatric Surgery, Cardiothoracic; Neurosurgery; Urology; Otolaryngology; Orthopaedics; Plastics. General Surgery covers Colorectal, Endocrine, Breast and Upper-Gastrointestinal surgery.
