The team has grown significantly during the last 12 months, reflecting that Housing & Homelessness are now a key council priority. The team is responsible for delivering statutory homeless services, temporary accommodation, managing the housing register, coordinating support to citizens sleeping rough, commissioning homeless services, and responsibility for housing strategy.
