Work Patterns: You will work rewarding long day shifts, including early starts, late evenings and weekends, fairly planned within the rotas. Based in our welcoming home in Leek, you will support children and young people (ages 3β18) with learning disabilities to feel safe, valued and inspired. From helping with daily routines to sharing laughs over games or cheering on small milestones, you will be making a lasting difference.
Responsibilities
- Support young people with daily routines, including personal care, preparing for school, meal times and bedtime.
- Maintain a warm, homely environment by assisting with light housekeeping.
- Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
- Plan and participate in fun activities such as trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights, and creative projects.
