Summary: The primary function of the incumbent is to ensure that direct materials are planned and procured to meet the production schedule, while optimizing the inventory levels on site. This position support both production and technology transfer. Job incumbent will work closely with a cross-functional team to that to ensure material readiness from both systems (Supply Chain) and delivery perspective. Responsibilities: Own and maintain material planning and supplier master data in the ERP system. (Item Master, Vendor Master, Planning Records, Bill of Materials, MRP, Purchase Orders, etc.) Reviews and analyzes the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) and releases purchase order requisitions or adjusts purchase order deliveries as needed to meet the production schedule.
