Job Summary
The Supplier Development Manager identifies new partners and suppliers in a designated area (India) for Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation Division (AER). He is in charge of developing AER suppliers through audits, regular visits, and support their plan to achieve targeted industrial performance.
Essential Job Duties
Participate in trade and supplier showsBuild a database and network of potential suppliers and partnersManage the sourcing of targeted technologies in IndiaManage the development and the qualification of the new suppliers/partners until the validation for the FAI’sIdentify and ensure reporting of new aircraft level technologies or technology trends which may have an impact of Liebherr-Aerospace product portfolioActively participate in logistics/quality teams and meetingConduct supplier and partner audits to ensure performance (OTD & TNQF)
