Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) in the Classification and Special Programs Department of the Fleet Human Resources Office of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will function as the Director, Classification and Special Programs Department providing administrative and technical supervision to the assigned staff. You will advise employees and mangers on the position classification process and used of the various classification tools such as classification and job standards, higher echelon decisions, and Standard job descriptions. You will resolve difficult issues/problems requiring consideration of the human resource management program.
