The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Acquisition Program/Project Manager, directing or supporting the activities of a DoD funded acquisition effort. Responsibilities Leads, manages, directs or is responsible for acquisition activities either directly, or in support of DoD funded acquisition efforts. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Delivers presentations on acquisition program status, accomplishments, problems/analysis/solutions, requirements for support and promotion of program objectives to senior military officers and civilians in other program offices, or the command and with using supporting commands.
