Responsibilities

• Lead, support and supervise a team of social workers across multiple care areas.
• Work on varying projects as required.
• Collaborate closely with iwi, government and non‑government organisations to support tamariki and whānau.
• Build and maintain positive relationships across all partners.
• Travel around the region as and when required.
• Identify the professional development needs of the team and support growth of capability and practice depth.
• Manage workflow and ensure timely decision‑making.
• Reflect Oranga Tamariki values and align practice with the Practice Framework, Principles and Standards.
• Partner and collaborate with peer supervisors, the wider leadership team, and the operational setting.
