Compensation

• Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/yr


• Annual Incentive: 5% target

Position Summary

This position is a training position for hog buying. In this role, you will begin work in the livestock receiving alleys at the plant. Upon completing the program, you should be qualified to apply for openings in hog buying.

Primary Functions

• Sorting, counting, weighing, tattooing, permanently identifying, and penning livestock according to segregation programs


• Training with hog buyers in the field


• Providing vacation relief for hog buyers after adequate training


• Managing the scheduling of livestock deliveries at the plant in the later stages of training
