Job Description

Supervises and coordinates staff in the planning of Pharmacy activities in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Prepares, compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical products using standard physical and chemical procedures to fill written prescriptions/medication orders. Reviews written prescriptions/medication orders for accuracy, completeness and issuance by an authorized prescriber. Maintains documentation for regulatory, quality, safety, clinical, and financial compliance.

Supervises, facilitates and evaluates pharmacy staff, financials, operations and clinical services including, but not limited to, staff scheduling and assignments, revenue integrity, process improvement initiatives, quality control and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
