Fabrication Supervisor

This position is responsible for the performance and oversight of high quality, safe, reliable, timely and cost-effective operation of the company's fabrication department, consisting of the Machine Shop, Sheet Metal Shop, and Paint Shop in support of the company's production schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervise day-to-day operations of the fabrication department.
2. Assign work orders to machinists, sheet metal workers, and painter and obtain fixtures, special tools, and materials required to complete the fabrication processes and track work order progress.
3. Coordinate with other department supervisors such as Production Assembly and Inventory Control to ensure parts are available when needed.
4. Track and analyze work order hours to detect and correct manufacturing deficiencies.
5. Track and present repair department performance metrics to senior management, as required.
