**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

The Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of day to day departmental operations of assigned department(s) including, but not limited to: clinical resource management, transitions of care across the continuum, patient advocacy, best practice in medical and social necessity determination. This position will supervise assigned departments in an efficient manner to ensure timely and compliant patient services are provided resulting in quality patient care. The Supervisor may assign work tasks, realign tasks within the department and take action to resolve minor disputes and productivity issues. This position may be assigned other duties within scope of practice, including, but not limited to : scheduling, conducting audits, performance improvement activities, assistance in staff evaluations or assuming a case load based on departmental needs.
