Millwright Supervisor

Our client in the manufacturing industry is on the search for a Millwright Supervisor to join their team in Cape Town.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Planned and break down maintenance (Electrical and mechanical).
2. Ensure all site work is done safely and as per company procedure (ensure that all paperwork is in order before work commences).
3. Stand-by and call out duties (operate boiler, boiler setup, and breakdowns).
4. Installation of equipment and commissioning thereof, including boilers, burners, and auxiliary equipment.
5. Supervise and manage all site work with teams being hands-on in the field and office.
6. Supervise and control site personnel in the day-to-day operations and duties of the boiler house.
7. Communicate with the client and management, suggesting repairs and site improvements.
8. Ensure risk assessments and data packs are completed and up to date.
