As the SUE Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading the field effort for various Underground Utility designating & locating projects.
Your Primary Responsibilities will include
- Locate underground utilities using non-destructive methods, including electromagnetic induction (EMI) and ground penetrating radar (GPR).
- Operate vacuum excavation trucks and related equipment (e.g., air compressors, vacuum hoses, air lances, jackhammers, concrete saws, pogo-tampers, hand tools).
- Perform utility mark-outs, surveying tasks, and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) field activities with minimal supervision.
