SUBSTITUTE TEACHER INFORMATION

The following guidelines will be in effect for the 2024-25 school year concerning substitute teachers.SUBSTITUTE TEACHER RATES WITH A FOUR-YEAR DEGREE


+ Provisional, Educational, Substitute or Professional Certificate. A four year degree.

+ Teaching days 1-15 -$116.00/day

+ 1/2 teaching day - $ 58.00

REQUIREMENTSEach substitute teacher must have on file in the Central Administration Office:

+ Valid Dept of Education, Provisional, Professional, or Substitute Certificate.

+ Letter of application (full application submitted through Teach Iowa) for substitute teaching position.
