Position Overview
Key responsibilities Student Emotional & Behavioural Support - Provide first-line emotional and pastoral support to students.
- Support students who may be anxious, distressed, withdrawn, or emotionally overwhelmed.
- Apply active listening, restorative practices, and de-escalation techniques to support students constructively.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Encourage positive coping strategies, emotional regulation, and resilience.
Case Management & Well-being Monitoring - Monitor and support students who may require additional emotional or behavioural support.
- Maintain appropriate records relating to student support, interventions, and follow-ups.
- Work closely with school stakeholders to coordinate student support efforts.
