Position Overview
Responsibilities:
Prepare rehearsal rooms prior to rehearsals, oversee the clean-up of all stands and chairs, and ensure rehearsal rooms are locked.Prepare scores and parts as directed by facultyAssist with equipment inventory and management Assist with front of house duties (i.e. greeting audiences, handing out programs).Assist with publicity for eventsAssist backstage during recitals and concertsAssist visiting performers (i.e. Arts in the Afternoon performers)Other duties as requested by faculty or the Music Technician
To be Successful in this Role You Will Need: Music Program students preferredExperience with large musical ensembles including concert band, jazz band, and/or choir.Computer experience or experience with sound and recording equipment, would be an asset.
