The Structures engineer, a.k.a. Stress Engineer or Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer, will be responsible for, and involved in defense and special missions projects at Textron Aviation.
Duties may include development of new features on current production aircraft, field support of legacy aircraft, on-going line support, and aftermarket product enhancements.
Responsible for ensuring the aircraft is structurally sound throughout the operating envelope and ensuring that the airframe is both durable (free from cracks) and tolerant of the unexpected damage that might occur during its operational life.
