Structural Engineer – £38k-£45k – Manchester City Centre

An excellent career opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer with at least 3 years of buildings design experience to join the Manchester office of a well‑respected firm of consulting engineers. The firm is synonymous with engineering excellence in the industry and has won numerous awards for its work.

You will work on a variety of exciting and interesting building projects, ranging from small specialist works up to £90m housing developments, and be heavily involved in staging and temporary exhibition structures such as the staging for the Brit Awards, the Oasis Concert, and marquees at the Chelsea Flower Show. The role includes site visits, hands‑on design, report writing, and involvement in specialist schemes involving escalators, demolitions, low‑rise apartment blocks, hospitals, conversions of Grade 2 listed buildings, façade changes, and commercial extensions.
