Salary: £35,000 to £57,000

The Role:

The successful Structural Design Engineer will assist with the delivery of projects lead by the Principal Engineer and Company Director. As the Structural Design Engineer’s experience grows, the role will evolve to taking responsibility for successful delivery of small to medium sized projects to budget & timescale.

Specific Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

* Analysis and Design of steel, concrete, masonry, timber structures to the relevant codes and standards (e.g., European, British)

* Analysis and Design of foundations & geotechnical structures.

* Analysis and Design using engineering software such as Statica, Axis VM FEM Modelling, Tekla Tedds.

* Preparation of Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Material takes offs, Scopes of Work, Technical reports, Inter discipline design coordination...
