NHS – CONSULTANT STROKE VACANCY

We have been assigned by an NHS Trust based in the South West of England help them recruit Consultant Stroke Physician on either a Substantive or 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.

Our client is a “Vanguard” site which identifies them as one of the most innovative Trusts in the country and gives them unique access to national support and funding to realise their exciting plans for the future.
Our client provides the following Stroke Services:
-Hyper-acute and Acute Stroke care including 7-day HASU ward rounds.
- 24/7 Stroke Thrombolysis supported by the AGWS Stroke network
- Stroke Thrombectomy at a neighbouring site.
- Dedicated TIA clinics
- Daily Outpatient clinics
- Rehabilitation through 2 community Hospitals (1x13 bed and 1x16 bed rehabilitation unit) and Early Support Discharge (ESD)
- Stroke Research
- Current overall performance in SSNAP is Level B and Level A at other sites.
