Function Pharmacy Facility Position Stores Assistant | Pharmacy Introduction
A vacancy exists for a Stores Assistant position in Pharmacy based at Life Mount Edgecombe Private Hospital, reporting to the Senior Pharmacist. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the effective management of stock in the Pharmacy as well as the rest of the hospital.
Critical Outputs
Receiving, unpacking and storage of surgical stock received.Receipting of invoices in the inventory management systemAssist with & manage stock distribution to units through auto transfers.Assist with cycle counts and stock takes in Pharmacy and in the wards.Effective utilization of reports to manage stock.Management of dead stock in Pharmacy and wards.Assist with stock management related to expiry dates, damaged stock, stock rotation and all ad hoc activities.Assist with general clerical / adm...
