Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organized Storeman to join our team within the water industry. In this role, you will manage the tool store and ensure engineers have the equipment they need to carry out their work efficiently. You will be responsible for issuing tools, maintaining accurate stock records, and being familiar with the specialist tools and equipment used in water engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue tools and equipment to engineers promptly and accurately.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked tool store.
- Track and record tool usage and returns using inventory systems.
- Inspect tools for damage and arrange repairs or replacements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the store area.
- Build knowledge of water industry tools and equipment to assist engineers effectively.
