REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services Department or their designee



STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHS) seeks to develop a talent pool of current BPS staff to provide compensatory counseling services outside of the school day.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

The BHS counselors will need to be trained in mental health counseling. They will be responsible for:


+ Schedule counseling sessions with the parent and student

+ Provide in-person or virtual counseling to individual students based on their IEPs

+ Track services given in Edplan and complete other data requests regarding the services when asked

+ Complete IEP progress reports when requested




TERMS:


+ OSS expects a minimum of 2-4 hours and a maximum of 20 hours weekly.
