**Job Title: Steel Inspector**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on performing in-process and final visual inspections of structural steel and steel piping to ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards. The Steel Inspector carefully evaluates welding, bolting, and overall assembly quality, documents findings, and maintains accurate quality assurance records throughout the project lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform in-process and final visual inspections of structural steel and steel piping to verify compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
+ Inspect assembly fit-up, including alignment, joint preparation, and overall configuration of steel components.
+ Examine welding quality, including weld size, contour, continuity, and overall workmanship, to ensure welds meet specified requirements.
