Notifies the unit manager of any changes in the situation that could impact the standards of care.
Collaborates with the Unit Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the cardiac catheterization laboratory and central sterile supply services (CSSS) daily.
Collaborates with ward staff to ensure patients arrive at the cardiac catheterization laboratory room on time, thereby optimizing the utilisation of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Accompanies patients into the cardiac catheterization laboratory rooms and recovery room safely before they are sent to the ward/critical care services, and records all cases in the cardiac catheterization laboratory record book.
