Position Overview
The RoleThe primary responsibility of a Porter is to clean dishes, kitchen equipment, and maintain orderly work areas as needed.Responsibilities: • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas. • Clear tables after guests leave. Takes tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
• Wash all china, glass and silverware • Clean all equipment, pots and pans • Store all equipment in proper locations • Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Attend mandatory meetings. • Perform all assigned side work. • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards. • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
