REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher-level education
- Must have Journeyman certification with 2+ years' experience with stamping die making or repair
- Repair damaged and worn dies
- Must be able to read Blueprints with knowledge of tool room equipment
- Proficient with grinders, drill presses, lathes, shapers, heat treat equipment, gages…
- Make sketch of stamping tooling, perform shop mathematics to create templates
- File, grind, chip and stone dies or tools to exact tolerances
