We’re looking for a curious, rigorous, problem-hungry platform engineer to help scale Ashby’s infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Optimize our homegrown recruiting DSL-to-SQL compiler and create developer tools
• Create automated guardrails for security and privacy of customer data
• Help developers ship features fast through canary deploys, gradual rollouts, and feature flags while keeping complexity manageable
• Define SLOs and implement corresponding SLIs with the business and engineering team
• Ensure all external service communication supports retries and circuit breakers
• Implement infrastructure to support an event‑driven architecture and data warehouse
