**Description:**

**Position Purpose**

Ensures the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals through their proper storage, handling, evaluation, preparation, compounding, labeling and dispensing in conjunction with state and federal regulations and departmental policies

**What you will do**

+ Maintains proper records, documentation and provides complete communication as appropriate.
+ Follows department guidelines with regard to clinical interventions and provides drug information as required and/or requested
+ Supervises pharmacy technicians and maintains efficient workflow of the area they are working in
+ Advises other health care professionals on drug interactions, incompatibilities, side effects, and proper administration of medications

**Minimum Qualifications**
