Coombes/Downlands Orthopaedics are looking to recruit an experienced Band 5 staff nurse to join our team.

We are an 27 bedded Trauma and Orthopaedic Ward called Coombes with an additional 10 orthopaedics beds on Downlands. We provide care for patients admitted to the hospital as result of an emergency admission. The ward provides care for a variety of injuries including fractures, soft tissue trauma and spinal injuries. Injuries can vary from relatively minor lacerations to complex road traffic trauma patients who require input from the plastic surgeons. We offer nurses a chance to develop their expertise in a range of orthopaedic skills within a friendly, welcoming team. Coombes/Downlands is an ideal environment for experienced qualified nurses who are wanting to learn new skills and gain experience within a new setting
