We currently have a vacancy on our inpatient cardiology ward, providing an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join the team within the heart centre.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, committed to the provision of excellent standards of care, a good communicator, and motivated to build on existing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the assessment of the needs, development of programmes of care, and for the implementation and evaluation of these programmes for patients and their relatives.
• Provide a high standard of clinical nursing within the department.
• Manage a group of patients.
• Take charge of the unit when rostered and assessed as competent to take on the roles and responsibilities of leadership and supervision.
