Job Overview

We are recruiting motivated and enthusiastic nurses for a 1‑year fixed‑term Band 5 Staff Nurse position in the John Hunter Clinic for Sexual Health & Kobler Outpatients Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and other genitourinary conditions.
• Provide pre‑exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and other risk‑reduction methods.
• Deliver a high standard of patient care in an innovative sexual health and HIV outpatient setting.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and may need to work cross‑site and cover weekend shifts as required.
• Maintain full training in core competencies relevant to sexual health and HIV care.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Band 5 Staff Nurse with competency, knowledge and interest in sexual health and HIV.
