Overview

Ward 33 is a 23‑bed orthopaedic trauma ward. It is a busy, fast‑paced, forward‑thinking ward within a diverse directorate, working collaboratively across the Orthopaedic Department. Our patient population ranges from frail and elderly patients with delirium and acute medical conditions to younger patients with varying orthopaedic needs and complex social backgrounds.

Role Responsibilities

Successful applicants will join a highly motivated and dynamic multidisciplinary team committed to delivering the highest standard of care and continuously improving patient outcomes. The post includes rotational shift working, covering day and night duty in line with service needs. Although based in Ward 33, there may be opportunities to gain experience across the Orthopaedic department, which includes an elective orthopaedic ward and a dedicated fractured neck of femur ward.
