Ward 33 is a 23 bedded orthopaedic trauma ward. It is a busy fast paced forward thinking ward within a diverse directorate, working collaboratively across the Orthopaedic Department.

Our patient population varies from frail and elderly patients who may present with delirium, and a range of acute medical conditions to our younger patients who have varying orthopaedic needs and complex social backgrounds.

Ward 33 admits patients directly from ED, we also orthopaedic day case patients who present daily to the ward for surgery. Delivering high quality, compassionate, and person centred care is central to the work of the ward.

Successful applicants will join a highly motivated and dynamic multidisciplinary team who are committed to delivering the highest standard of care and continuously improving patient outcomes.
