Position Overview
Staff Mechanical Engineer, Debug Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.
Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience designing and testing electro-mechanical, pneumatic and fluid systems.
- Experience using prototyping tools and techniques.
- Experience designing industrial or lab automated systems.
- Experience with modeling CAD software such as SolidWorks.
Preferred qualifications: - Experience growing and managing high performance hardware teams.
- Experience with agreement manufacturers and vendor management, as well as cost and strategy.
- Experience improving prototypes and systems iteratively and a demonstrated interest in working through the full development lifecycle.
