**Job Summary:**

The Staff Counsel Employment position will serve as an Employment Law attorney for Walgreens’ in-house legal department. This position will focus on supporting Walgreens’ employment litigation and regulatory portfolio. In addition, this role will include some counseling and special projects related to compliance and employment related matters.

+ Provide strategic, timely, practical counseling to various client groups regarding employment related issues
+ Investigate and respond to federal, state and local administrative charges and hearings
+ Partner with senior department attorneys in managing and directing outside counsel, including developing strategy and tactics on employment litigation matters
