MAJOR FUNCTION

:  The Staff Assistant position will be housed in the Student Services Advising Division and will report directly to the Director. This position performs a variety of clerical/secretarial and administrative support functions of moderate scope and complexity requiring exercising considerable judgment and initiative. 

Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Provides customer service to prospective and current students and visitors to campus at the front desk serving the Advising Center, Career Center, and International Student Services.  Provides detailed information and answers a variety of questions related to admissions, orientation, advising, and registration processes.  Provides support in processing forms, reviews information in the TCC student information system and interprets several information screens.
