Staff Application Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Application Engineer of Renesas IC products to solve customer problems, including system design, bench-test, debug, and documentation.

**Responsibilities:**

+ System design incorporating our products (eg. GreenPAK, FPGA)
+ Planning and execution of new product prototype bring-up, bench-testing, and evaluation.
+ Technical documentation (eg. Lab Reports, Datasheets, Application Notes, etc)
+ Technical support for external customers and internal teams.
+ Presentations and product training
+ Feedback findings, issues, potential improvements to other teams
+ Lab / bench maintenance

Qualifications

+ Education: BSEE or equivalent (MSEE preferred)
+ 5+ years experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics design
+ Strong knowledge of configurable devices and development tools (eg. GreenPAK / FPGA / Verilog)
