Description

The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Manager -- Key Responsibilities:  Support the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations with resolution of variances.  Support inventory and work-in-process (WIP) tracking and reconciliations  Payroll processing and related reporting  Partner with project managers to support project setup and basic financial tracking  Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting activities  Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements and support ad hoc projects as needed.  Additional exposure to AP/AR Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting  1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-size organization  Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP  Payroll processing experience  Strong Excel skills, including use of formulas and pivot tables  Exposure to an ERP system preferred  Manufacturing accounting exposure is a plus ...
