We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a growing organization in California on a contract basis. This role is well suited for an accounting specialist who can quickly step into day-to-day execution, bring structure to financial records, and help advance tax-related work in a dynamic environment. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical accounting activities while supporting a team that is strengthening its internal finance operations.


Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank activity, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet items to confirm accuracy and resolve outstanding variances.

• Pull financial information from QuickBooks, organize reporting data, and review records to support accounting analysis and decision-making.

• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation needed for corporate tax filings and related tax compliance efforts.
