Our client, a growing company in the biotech industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a contract-to-permanent opportunity in San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong general ledger experience who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.


Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Perform bank and account reconciliations

+ Analyze financial data and support preparation of financial reports

+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed

+ Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
