We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a well-known organization in Rockford, MI on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting specialist who can manage core financial activities with accuracy and consistency while supporting a fast-paced operational environment. The role will contribute to close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and ongoing accounting support to help maintain reliable financial records and informed business decisions.


Responsibilities:

• Support monthly and annual close activities by preparing schedules, organizing supporting documentation, and helping ensure deadlines are met.

• Create and record journal entries with a high degree of accuracy while maintaining proper backup for each transaction.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
