Description
A mission-driven nonprofit in Poughkeepsie is looking for a Staff Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants their work to make a visible difference in the community.

What you’ll tackle:

+ Manage daily accounting operations and general ledger activity

+ Process and reconcile donations using Raiser’s Edge (Blackbaud)

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and grant tracking

+ Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

+ Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards


Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:

+ Has experience with Blackbaud / Raiser’s Edge (non-negotiable)

+ Brings a mix of technical accounting skills and adaptability

+ Enjoys being part of a team that wears multiple hats
