We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join a dynamic manufacturing company in Portland, Oregon. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, offering the chance to contribute to the organization's financial operations while working remotely. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and proper period cut-off.

• Prepare journal entries, including payroll and treasury-related entries, and ensure they are recorded correctly.

• Conduct high-volume cash reconciliations, primarily on a daily basis.

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies that arise.

• Prepare and record various accruals, including accounts payable, cash, and rate-based accruals.
