Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations for a client in the OKC area. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in financial recordkeeping, close activities, and account analysis who can contribute to accurate and timely reporting. The role offers the opportunity to work across key accounting functions while helping maintain strong financial controls and reporting integrity.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain the general ledger by reviewing account activity, resolving discrepancies, and supporting overall data accuracy.

• Assist with month-end close by organizing schedules, completing assigned close tasks, and meeting reporting deadlines.

• Calculate and record accruals based on supporting documentation and established accounting procedures.
