The Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL), a SLAC Directorate at Stanford University, is a national scientific user facility. SSRL operates approximately 30 x-ray and ultraviolet beamlines that support research in microelectronics, energy storage, metal additive manufacturing, biological and medical sciences, Earth science, sustainability, and materials science.
